The Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee (CBRC) is considering a proposal that would, if adopted, set a maximum total allocation of 400 precinct-elected delegates and 400 precinct-elected alternates at all organizing unit conventions. This proposal was introduced at the committee's October meeting for inclusion in the committee's report to the 2026 State Convention on recommended changes to the Constitution and Bylaws. However, the proposal has been postponed in the interest of obtaining feedback from party unit leaders and members.
Please use the form below to offer general feedback, review the proposal, and share your thoughts on the idea of capping the number of precinct-elected delegates and alternates to each organizing unit convention. Your feedback matters!
